We have been listening to a CD in the car non-stop for about a month. And while I didn't understand the lyrics as a kid, they are really cracking me up now!
See if you can guess the movies and/or songs:
1. Ev'ry one ellis is jealous.
2. Oh, look: What's this? They're hanging mistletoe, they kiss. Why, that looks so unique, inspired!
3. As a specimen, yes, I'm intimidating....As you see, I've got biceps to spare....And every last inch of me's covered with hair....I'm especially good at expectorating....And now that I'm grown I eat five dozen eggs, so I'm roughly the size of a barge!
4. Now, it's happened once or twice, someone couldn't pay the price; and I'm afraid I had to rake 'em 'cross the coals. [sung very sweetly]
5. Where we finding baby, there are milk nearby.

Yeah, I know #3 is Beauty and the Beast because that's what Greg has been singing lately...I'm not sure why. I don't know any of the others. It's kind of fun to look up lyrics and find out what the REAL words are to the song.
Yay Disney! I'm not sure about number 1, but I got the rest:
2. Nightmare Before Christmas, What's This
3. Beauty and the Beast, Gaston
4. Little Mermaid, Poor Unfortunate Souls
5. Lady and the Tramp, The Siamese Song
Hurray! Disney songs make me want to cheer.
Whoops, that last comment was me, Britta, not Scott.
I recognized Gaston, and the Siamese cats. but the others I think I would name that tune in 6 stanzas!
I only can't name #1. Even though I have this CD. That one must not be on my mp3 player.
Bryan got number 1 after I sang the next line: "That's why I repeat and repeat."
The wonderful thing about tiggers!
