Smorgasblog IV

St. Patrick's Day--she's trying to pull the bow out of her hair. Her hair is starting to hang in her face, so I've been putting it in a ponytail almost every day now. She's finally getting used to it.

Caleb and Daddy built a bridge. This is a tradition in Bryan's family--get every block or stick in the house and build a bridge. Then blow it up (or tear it down).

This is my new dress. When I went to the store, I had no intention of buying anything. Then I saw this dress. As I was trying it on, the dressing room attendant was telling Bryan things like, "Oh, I just knew it would look so good on her the moment I saw her carrying it back here." She went on and on complimenting me, and continued when I actually walked out to show Bryan the dress (I'm sure that is a sales tactic). When I went to take it off, the zipper was completely stuck in the lining. I could not get the dress off! After pulling, ripping, and finally using two different pairs of scissors, we were able to make a small tear in the lining to get the zipper free. After all the compliments (yes, I wanted to believe her!) and all the hassle, I bought the dress anyway and got $5 off!

Caleb featuring his artwork. Sully from Monsters, Inc. and a clown.

These kids really do love each other, even if they really bug each other too.

Caleb's new tie. He loves to be "just like Dad!"

Showing off her pretty dress. She finally graduated from the Monster Crawl to walking! So much easier on Sundays!

This is her mischievous look when she is teasing Caleb by turning off the TV.

Throwing rice on the floor, one by one.

Lately, Savanna does this funny thing where she kind of dances and rubs her arms back and forth. Cracks me up every time.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the dress Brianne! You look beautiful... I agree with the sales person. The pics are cute. Good idea to use a whole apron on Savannah while she eats. I'll have to remember that one. Caleb's prayer stories made me laugh so hard. That kid is so hysterical and smart. Funny stuff. Thanks for the reminder on the cost of eating out. We are generally pretty good about it, but it's always nice to have a reminder on the cost, so that I can minimize. Any decisions on where you will be landing for a job? ARIZONA! aRIZONA! ARIZONA!
