I never want to forget this: sucking his left thumb, fingers through the blanket. You know he's tired when he sticks that thumb in his mouth and reaches for something, anything, to hold in his right hand, including but not limited to a burp cloth, towel, or just my shirt.P.S. I can't remember who gave this blanket to us. If it was you, you win! It has been christened as Joseph's official baby blanket!

People often ask me, "Is he happy like this all the time?" And the answer: YES! He does cry like any normal kid who hasn't mastered language yet, but he is truly very happy 99% of the time.

And last but not least, FHE and cookie-decorating with some friends. Bryan knew Drew from his mission. I knew of Kelly at BYU because she also graduated in vocal performance a couple years before me. And their daughters are both gorgeous.

I'm so dang excited to come see you guys, to hear Savannah talk in (mostly) coherent human language, listen to Caleb talk about school, and be melted by Joseph's smiles. Also to talk endlessly to you and Bryan!
I love happy babies! My last one was ultra happy too. The verdict is still out on this new one- I'm leaning toward average, but it's still too early to tell.

Those pictures of Joseph are cute! I'm glad you found some friends to do FHE with too. We have FHE with the Shaffers and that makes it more fun. Greg and I felt kind of silly just having it by ourselves, because we kind of feel like it's FHE every day of the week already. The kids look like they're having fun together too. That's nice if they play together.

Cute, cute kids! I can't believe how much Joseph looks like Savannah. Holly Mesearch was here in Vegas a few weeks ago. We had them over for dinner. It was so fun to see her. If you are ever here please let me know.
My question is, where's Caleb's hat I made him? Its just not complete unless Caleb has a picture with his hat on.
How fun. Those pictures are adorable. We are missing all of Joseph's growing up but I guess we missed the other kids too. Too sad.
