I, for one, would prefer to defer putting up the Christmas tree until December. Alas, I was out-voted, and we put it up before Thanksgiving. Bryan says we pay 10% tithing, might as well celebrate Christmas 10% of the year.

Every Family Home Evening, we start with the same song. And every week, Savanna runs over to the music shelf, pulls out music (any music will do) and leads the song.

Dressing up as an indian for Thanksgiving

Notice the Christmas cap, velvet purse (which is holding up the butterfly wings), and the rainbow toe socks. Oh, yes, and she put the other hat on me.

This is what happens when mommy ignores you for too long...

Caleb dressed himself as Wallace today.
Can you see the resemblance?

So fun! I just love it-Caleb as an indian, Savanna as...fairy?, Caleb as Wallace. Really Cute!
Oh yes, and Savanna leading the music, Priceless!
such cute pics. I love 'em.
Savanna really is her own little person, isn't she. Such personality! I'm still laughing about the leading music picture. What a great moment captured.
I LOVE the pic of Caleb playing his game with the bear. Hysterical.
Hey, could you email me your new mailing address for a Christmas card? for some reason your gmail address came back undeliverable? THANKS!

I don't usually think your kids look much alike (definitely related, but not a ton alike), but that picture of them in the tub made me realize how much they really do resemble each other.
And the picture of Caleb playing the game with the teddy bear was AWESOME. Loved it.
Caleb makes a good Wallace!
I hesitated in setting up our tree as well, but the vote here also said otherwise. After setup, Patty had to tell the kids they could touch the decorations with one finger only!
I love those pictures. I laughed quite a bit over those pics. Savanna is so darling and Caleb is so smart.
Check my math, but I think you're gonna have to keep that tree up 5 weeks, 1 day, 9 hours, and 36 minutes in order to get 10% of the year covered. What about fast offering?
You didn't mention what the song is--what's the family night preferred music? And if you celebrate 10% for Christmas, how early do you buy Valentine candy? (Ok, so I've already got some--it's only Jan 13)
