1. Today's class in heaven is Smiling 101. We've gotten some glimpses of this sweet baby's smiles.
2. This boy likes to suck. He is good at nursing, pacifiers, and bottles. I'm sure he would be good at his fingers too, if I let him have them--I haven't clipped those fingernails yet.
3. I think he likes to be swaddled, but he always tries to get his hands free. Maybe because he thinks it's time to eat all the time.
4. And I think pictures of newborns, without the context of other humans, always make them look much bigger than they are. Oh, well. Here is a skewed view of what Isaac looks like:

what a handsome little guy!
So sweet :) love you!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Isaac is such a handsome fellow!! And I'm very proud of you for doing it sans epidural. YOU GO GIRL. Can't wait to hear more updates on him. As little Grant was only about 2 weeks ahead of Isaac, I can commiserate/celebrate on all the newborn fun.
I'm glad everything is going well and that you can have your family with you for support. I'm excited to see you and the new baby, but don't hurry back too fast. He's not even my baby and I'm nervous about certain female youth getting too close. Haha. I was thinking the same thing about Tara.
Let me know if you need a dinner or something! Or cookies...
You never know with his hair, Jake had dark hair when he was born, and it turned brown instead of blond. Mom says that Isaac looks just like you did when you were a baby, and she's probably right. I can't wait to meet him for the first time, so exciting.
Congratulations! He looks perfect. I hope your recovery is smooth and quick! My thoughts and prayers are with you.
He is a doll. A handsome doll that would be.
